About the Mountain

Hautacam is located in the Haute Pyrenees in France. The Hautacam climb begins near the town of Argelès-Gazost. Hautacam is an HC climb with an undulating gradient. The average gradient is 7.8% with a maximum gradient of 10.5%. The steepest gradients are located in kilometres 7, 8 and 10.

Hautacam has been used in the Tour de France several times. Hautacam was the summit finish on stage 18 of the 2014 Tour de France. The stage was won by Vincenzo Nibali. Hautacam was also used on the Tour de France in 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2008
