Bontrager was started in a garage in Santa Cruz, California in 1980 by Keith Bontrager. Trek Bikes bought Bontrager and is run out of Waterloo, Wisconnsin. Bontrager produces a large range of products including cycling apparel, components and accessories. Bontrager has provided the kit for the Trek Factory Racing team.

Castelli was born from a fine tailoring company based in Milan and started in 1876. The first cycling clothing was made by Castelli in the 1910s for the world champion and five-time Giro champion Alfredo Binda. The famous Castelli Scorpion logo was introduced in 1974. Castelli now provide cycling kit for Team Sky in 2018.

CRAFT is a Swedish brand that specialises in producing sports and outdoor apparel. Craft is based in Borås, an old, traditional textile industry town in the South of Sweden. Anders Bengtsson, the founder of Craft, had the original idea to develop underwear, which draws moisture away from the skin, while undertaking physical activity. Craft was acquired by the New Wave Group in 1996.

Endura was founded in Scotland in 1993. The mission statement of the comapny was to advance and improve the performance and function of cycling apparel. For a few years now Endura has provided the Kit for the Movistar Team. A great achievement for a company to reach the top of the sport.

Etxeondo started smal in a workshop located in Billabona, in the Basque Country. Etxeondo was founded by Francisco Rodrigo who started in high fashion, working for leading brands including Dior and Balenciaga Francisco had a great love of cycling which inspired him to make a range of cycling clothing that would not only be functional but would also look good.

Today Etxeondo is still a family run business. Etxeondo clothing is still designed in Irura and manufactured in Castejon in Navarra, the home region of the Miguel Indurain.

Giordana Cycling Apparel was started in 1971. by Giorgio Andretta.

A new brand was created and named after Giorgio's newborn daughter, Giordana. Giordana was born in 1979. The famous Sagittarius logo was created in 1980. In 1983 Giordana introduced sublimation printed jerseys. In 1991 Giordana sponsored the Motorola professional cycling team. In 1995 Giordana was the official clothing supplier for the Tour de France providing stage winners and the 82nd Tour winner, Miguel Indurain, with Giordana jerseys.

Nalini is located in the town of Castel d'Ario in Italy, close to the city of Verona. Nalini was founded by two brothers, Vincenzo and Claudio Mantovani. The brothers expertise in creating technical cycling apparel for top cyclists is key to Malini's success. Nalini is considered to be the largest cycling apparel manufacturer in Italy.

Nalini /MOA has a presence in the professional cycling as a technical sponsor of some of the biggest professional teams.

Over 60 years ago in Tokyo a father produced Japan's first bicycle racing apparel for his son who was a promising racer. Today that company, now called Pearl Izumi USA, Inc. has become a major brand of technical-performing cycling and triathlon apparel.

Pearl Izumi has sponsored many cycling teams, including the 1984 USA Olympic team. Pearl Izumi was purchased by Shimano for $70M in 2008

Swedish company POC has mission to do the best to save lives and to reduce the consequences of accidents for gravity sports athletes and cyclists. POC was founded in 2005.

In 2014, POC announced a three-year partnership to become the official helmet and eyewear supplier for Cannondale-Garmin Pro Cycling team. POC also established an exclusive partnership with Volvo to explore new ideas within safety and design.

Rapha was founded in London in 2004 by Simon Mottram. Rapha launched with an exhibition entitled Kings of Pain, showcasing six heroes from cycling’s golden era and beyond: Fausto Coppi, Jacques Anquetil, Raymond Poulidor, Tom Simpson, Eddy Merckx and Bernard Hinault.

Landmarks in Rapha's history are: 2006 first bib shorts produced, 2010 Pro team range, 2013 Team Sky Partnership, 2016 Canyon/SRM partnership. Rapha was sold in 2017 to RZC Investments, a private equity firm run by Steuart and Tom Walton who are the grandchildren of Sam walton the founder of Walmart.

Santini SMS was founded by Pietro Santini in 1965. Santini SMS is a cycling clothing brand belonging to the Italian clothing production company Santini Maglificio Sportivo. This company is based in Lallio, Italy.

Santini SMS started in 1993 to provide the pink jersey for the Giro d'Italia. Since 1994 Santini SMS has been the clothing sponsor of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and the UCI World Championships. Santini has provided kit for Belkin Pro Cycling Team, La Vie Claire, Mercatone Uno, Green Edge as well as many others.

Olindo & Irma Cremonese, from Asolo in Italy moved to the Dolomites in 1946 to start a business. Sportful’s story began in 1972 due to their son's interest in cross country skiing. After building up a good reputation as a ski wear provider Sportful in 1985 pursued the founders other passion, cycling and began to develop clothing for cycling. Using the knowledge gained from designing skiing Sportful's clothing apparel was made to be both functional and comfortable in changing conditions.

Sportful have provided team kit for Mapei, Tinkoff Saxo and Trek Segafredo.

Vermarc Sport was founded in Belgium in 1977 by former cyclist Frans Verbeeck and is named after his son Marc. Vermarc has become a well known brand in cycling and has supplied the clothing of the Belgian cycling teams Lotto-Belisol , Omega Pharma-Quick Step , Topsport Flanders-Mercator as well as the South African cycling team MTN-Qhubeka
