About the design
The EF Education Easypost 2022 jersey brings in the new sponsor but also continues the current trend of "deconstructed" designs. The EF 2022 kit is pink based with the rather busy pattern. The main sponsors are rendered in white on this background but with the background image toned down behind the sponsors to help them still be visible. The bibshorts appear to have a light green/aqua hue to them which moves away from the standard black bibshorts.
Two training jerseys were also produced that utilised the same techniques used on the Rapha x Palace skateboard kit variation. The pinch and bloat tools available in graphic design packages have been used along with "busy" repeating patterns. As the pink jersey colour clashes with the Pink GC jersey in the Giro d'Italia, the team had to use a variant of their kit especially for the Giro race in 2022. The main design was still used but a different colour palette was used utilised that was based on a darker colour with only hints of pink and the light green/aqua colour.
The designs carry through to the socks, gloves, caps and bikes providing a pink touches with varying amounts of the main design on top of it. For example, the socks have a minimal call back to the design but the caps are fully covered in the design.
A special edition Tour de France kit was produced in partnership with Palace Skateboards. The kit celebrates the first edition of the Tour de France Femmes.
