About the design
For the 2019 season UAE Team Emirates have decided to go for a clean concept. This translate to a white only based jersey that serves as a neutral canvas to better promote sponsors. The UAE sponsor takes prominent place on the chest and shoulders while Emirates is rendered on the chest and sleeve ends in white on red bands. The Emirates flag is rendered below in a horizontal manner as opposed to previous seasons sweeping style from bottom to the middle of the jersey.
Similar to other pro teams' jerseys the riders name and nationality flag is located on the neck of the back of the jersey. A new top tier sponsor Emaar, a property development company, is prominent on the front of the jersey, just below the render of the UAE flag.
The bibshorts rmain black with the sponsors renderded in white with the exception of the Emirates name being rendered in white on a red background. This itteration of the kit is low on design innovation but it does meet its goal to give sponsors maximum visibility.
