About the Design

Once again Trek kept the pinstripes for 2016 on the bottom of jersey and also on the bibshorts. The upper part of the kit retained its white shoulders and upper chest. The Trek Factory Racing name was replaced with Trek and the new major sponsor, Segafredo, was brought onboard. Somewhat fortuitously, Segfredo's brand colours are also red, white and black. The Trek Segafredo kit keeps its white upper torso and shoulders with sponsors logos and names rendered in black on the white background.

Segrafredo is rendered on the pinstripe background but blends into the kit seamlessly with no colour or style clashes. The red S of Segafredo blends in and makes for a very strong branding.

The colour palette of the kit stays red, black and white. This colour palette is very strong and the colours complement each other extremely well.

A high viz version of the kit was introduced at the Japan Cup in 2016 as a training kit. This version substituted the white upper chest and shoulder panel with a hi viz yellow panel. The team's bikes, shoe covers, socks, jerseys, bibshorts and helmets were all hi viz yellow. This training kit will be used in the 2017 season.

At Road Bike Kit we think this is one of the strongest and best designed kits of the pro peloton.
