About the design

In contrast to the 2015 Team Katusha kit that introduced many new design elements, the 2016 Katusha kit went somewhat in the opposite direction by changing the colour palette and simplifying the design.

The colour palette is now red, burgundgy and white. These new shades blended extremely well. The light blue that did not blend so well has been removed.

The bike supplier Canyon is still present on the collar, sleeve ends and leg ends but is no longer black. The collar is now red with white writing and the sleeves and legs are white bands with black writing.

The Katusha logo is large on the front of the jersey with a smaller version on the upper back and sleeves of the jersey. This iteration of the kit feels less busier than previous versions but still provides a very stylish design. This kit is more akin to Rapha's work on the Team Sky designs.

This version feels polished and sleeker than previous versions and sometimes in design, less is more.
