About the design

The 2016 version of the Etixx Quick Step kit brought a few variations from the previous season. The colour palette swaped the ice blue colour for a darker blue. The other colours remained as black and white. The jersey replced the white panel on the chest with a black panel and as a consequence, the Etixx name was now rendered in white as opposed to black. A white bar was added in the background between the main sponsors Etixx and Quick Step. A darker blue panel was added to the upper chest and the other sponsors were rendered on this in white.

The biggest design variation for this season was the addition of blue vertical stripes on a black background on the lower part of the jersey. This was somewhat reminiscent of the Trek pinstripes but the the Etixx Quick Step vertical stripes got further apart as they got closer to the edge of the jersey. This configuration was mirrored on the back of the jersey. The white bands were kept on the sleeve ends.

The bibshorts were now predominantly dark blue with black bands on the leg ends. The sponsors were rendered in white on the dark blue background. Still a good kit and colour palette but the ice blue colour 'popped' more against the black in the 2015 version.
