About the Design

In 2015 Tinkoff Saxo kit was dominated by the two main sponsors, Tinkoff Bank and Saxo Bank. Tinkoff brought the yellow colouring in various guises and Saxo Bank provided the blue. The main sponsors were emblazoned on the chest of the jeresy with Tinkoff receiving top billing. Blue feature colouring was used on the sleeve ends, shoulder and collar.

In contrast the bibshorts and bibtights had large panels of blue coloured areas that were punctuated with the yellow.

Main sponsor logos were placed on the upper chest and on the back pocket. These included the Tinkoff crest, Specialised, Sportful and UCI logos.

The design was very simple with minimal detailing to break up the solid large blocks of colour.

The Russian flag was displayed on the sleeve to denote the Russian connection and registration.

A training kit was introduced this year which had a camouflage pattern added to the kit. The camouflage pattern was also replicated in the bibshorts but partnered with areas of black as opposed to blue.

A special edition of the kit was also introduced for the Tour de France this year. It merged aspects of the race kit with the training kit to produce a very busy kit but it certainly added a bit of interest to the peloton.

In 2015 two things could be seen from space that year, The Great Wall of China and the Tinkoff Saxo kit. ;)
