About the design

This Vermarc supplied kit for the 2014 Omega Pharma Quick Step team followed very much the design asthetic of the 2013 kit. The colour palette was kept the same black, white and ice blue.

The white panel in the previous season's kit was replaced with a black panel. The shoulder area dotted ice blue and black detailing and colouring was replaced with solid black. The sponsors' names are still rendered white on black but ice blue colouring is used on the stitching of the jersey and the shorts. This is a good way to provide subtle colour detail in the design.

The white panel across the front and back of the jersey is kept with the placement of the Omega Pharma and Quick Step logos and names kept prominently in the middle of the front and rear of the jersey.

This kit had less design details than the previous season but it continued with the strong colour palette and mostly black kit for the 2014 season. Another strong kit from this team for 2014.
