About the design

The Russian based Katusha team used the Russian colour palette for the 2013 team kit. The colour palette is red, white and light blue. The base colour for the kit was red. The Bike supplier, Canyon, brings black touches to the collar, sleeve ends and leg ends. Panels of white and blue are below the collar on the front and back of the jersey. White, blue and red bands are on the sleeves and bottom of the jersey again acknowledging the Russia connection.

The main sponsors are on white panels on the shoulers, across the chest and across the back. White panels are also used down the sides of the jeresy and the bibshorts.

On the red sections of the bottom of half and shoulders of the jersey both front and back have a repetitive pattern. This design element adds a dimension to break up the solid flat red.

Nothing in this design deviated from the established norm in the peloton but the design does a good job in incorporating the Russian colours.
