About the Design

For 2013 the team was called Saxo Tinkoff. The names of the main sponsors dominated the front of the jersey with Saxo bank receiving top billing. The words Saxo and Tinkoff were written in large lettering on the back of the kit.

The colour palette was dark blue, light blue and yellow. The back of the kit was a dark blue panel while the front of the kit was predominantly yellow. Main sponsors were rendered in white on the dark blue panel on the upper part of the front of the kit. These logos were replicated on the back of the kit on the upper shoulder and back pocket area also in white on a dark blue background. The upper dark blue portion of the kit is accentuated by a yellow band around the neck and leg ends of the bibshorts.

The design itself was nothing very innovative but the strong colour palette made the kit striking and made it stand out.
