About the Design

For the 2013 season Astana is still using the aqua colour as its base colour for the kit. The colour paletter is rounded out with white, yellow and red elements from logos used sparingly. This kit will always have issues with colour palettes using the aqua base colour.

The Astana name is placed across the chest in a diagonal fashion rendered in white on a yellow curved line. Awing like detail is in the middle of the front and back of the jersey in a slightly different colour shade from the base colour. The MOA and Specialized logos bring a touch of red to the design which does look a little out of place. The Astana name is on the collar rendered in white. The specialized and MOA logos are also replicated on the back of the tops. The specialized red S on each leg of the bibshorts does clash and look out place with the aqua background.

The Samruk Kayna name and logo appear on the side of the jersey, the sleeves and the gloves.

A kit that is let down a little by the colour paletted dictated by sponsors branding.
