About the Design
The 2012 season for the Garmin team involved 2 kit deigns due to sponsorship additions.
Part 1 - Garmin - Barracuda
The main sponsors Garmin and Barracuda were rendered on the chest of the jersey. The colour palette for the team was dark and light blue, black and white. The team's argyle design detail was on the bottom of the jersey and leg ends of the bibshorts with diamonds in 3 shades of blue with white dotted detail. The shoulderarea of the jeresy was blue with sponsors names rendered in white. The middle of the jersey was white. The Garmin name was rendered on a black background on the chest and sides of the jersey and bibshorts. The Cervelo logo was rendered in white on the sleeves and rear of the jersey. The sleeve ends had white bands with sponsors names rendered in black. The Castelli scorpion logo stood out on the kit with its red circular background.
Part 2 - Garmin - Sharp - Barracuda
The second half of the season brought on a new sponsor in Sharp electronics. Sharp brought a red colour to the colour palette and took their primary sponsor position after the Garmin name and before the Barracuda name on the chest of the jersey on a red background. The Sharp name was rendered on the collar in red lettering and on a red sleeve end on the jersey on one sleeve. The white section of the jersey was removed and the argyle design detail, which was made of larger and more subtly shaded diamonds of blue and lighter blue covered the entire bottom half of the jersey. The white panel was kept on the back of the jersey with the Cervelo e being rendered in black here.
