About the Design

The Francaise de Jeux (FDJ) French cycling team remained with the French Tricolor colour palette with the white basis being used for the jersey. The collar, sleeve ends and jersey sides incorporate the blue and red colours to give some design interest to the white torso and sleeves of the jersey.

The FDJ logo, rendered on a blue background, is rendered in the prime location on the chest and rear of the jersey. The FDJ logo is also rendered on the sleeves and sides of the jersey. A new secondary sponsor for the 2012 season, BigMat, a building matrials supplier, is rendered in blue and red just below the main FDJ logo. It is also rendered on the shoulders and smaller on the rear of the jersey around either side of the large FDJ logo.

The bibshorts are blue for this season with a lighter blue and red stripe on the sides and the leg ends of the bibshorts. The FDJ logo is rendered on the front and side while the BigMat logo on the rear of the bibshorts.

The bibshorts were changed to white for the 2012 Tour de France but the design remained the same with the blue and red striped design details also on the sides and on the leg ends of the bibshorts.

The kit was manufactured by well established Italian apparel manufacturer MOA Nalini.
