About the Design
The Garmin Transitions team kit changed significantly for the 2011 season. The name changed to Garmin Cervelo and the orange colour was dropped from the colour palette which became black, white and light blue. The jerseys became predominantly black with a white stripe across the chest where the Garmin name was rendered in black. The light blue colour was used on the collar and the sleeve ends. The argyle design detail was toned down for this seasons's kit but was still present on the sleeve end and leg end of the bibshorts. The sponsors names were rendered in white on the black.
This season there was a special edition Tour de France kit. The jersey was largely white with the argyle design detail returning to the bottom half of the jersey with blue and light blue diamonds. The argyle detail was also present on the blue collar and the sleeve end of the jersey and bibshorts. The bibshorts remained black but with white bands on the leg ends were introduced for the Tour de France version. The Garmin name on the chest was inverted, to be a black background with the Garmin name in white.
